Human or animal? - didactic tale

Is a true event. I will not tell the name. Many boys left school. There was an afternoon break in between the studies. All the boys were jumping and laughing and shouting. A man was lying on the road in front of the school gate. Nobody paid attention to him. Everyone was going to their tune.

A little boy saw the man, he went to him. The man was ill. He asked the boy for water. The boy brought water from a nearby house. The sick drank water and then lay down. The boy, who had a pot of water, gave it to him and went to play.

That boy came home in the evening. It heard that a gentleman is telling his father that a man died on the road today after noon in front of the school. The boy went to his father and said - 'Babuji! He was lying on the road. I asked him to give him water.

Father was very angry. He said to the boy - "Run away from me! You also quit seeing a sick man. Why not take him to the hospital? You are not a human being but an animal."

The scared boy said - 'I was alone. Well, how would he take that hospital? '

Father scolded - "Don't make an excuse." If you could not take it, tell your teacher immediately or come home and tell me. I would make an arrangement.
